The interest of top US companies to invest in Greece was discussed in a Tuesday video conference held by Development & Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis and executives of major American companies, the ministry said on Wednesday. 

As the Minister of Development and Investment statesd in a post on twitter, "today the conclusion of the first phase of" the Ellinikon project "has been handed over to the Contracting Authority. The competition goes as planned and we go forward for the project. "

Development Minister Adonis Georgiadis said that Greece is ready to accept investments, while speaking at the AmCham's 30th Annual Greek Economic Summit in Athens on Tuesday.
