- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Development Minister Adonis Georgiadis said that Greece is ready to accept investments, while speaking at the AmCham's 30th Annual Greek Economic Summit in Athens on Tuesday.
Georgiadis noted that he will visit the island of Syros with US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt "to celebrate the completion of the privatization of the island's shipyards," now called Onex Syros Shipyards SA, which belongs to New York-based Onex Technologies Group.
Finally, Georgiadis went over some current and upcoming investment projects in Greece, like NCH Capital's tourist resort in Corfu's Kassiopi, the tourist resort at Afantou in Rhodes Island, or the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal at Alexandroupolis.
