The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) sent a Letter of Intent to Greece's Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), expressing interest in participating in the Great Sea Interconnector project linking the electrical grids of Greece, Cyprus, and Israel, IPTO said on Tuesday.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Monday in Dubai by Greece's Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), the Republic of Cyprus' Ministry of Energy, Commerce & Industry and Abu Dhabi-based energy conglomerate TAQA, it was reported on Tuesday.
