The Asylum Service of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum today issued and served the decision revoking the international protection status of Javed Aslam, president of the Pakistani Community in Greece “Unity”. This is the administrative follow-up to the case that came up on February 16, when it was announced that the Service had activated the revocation procedure and had invited him to submit his observations within 15 working days, before the final judgment.

The president of the Pakistani Community in Greece, Javed Aslam, is among those whose asylum has been revoked following instructions from the Minister of Migration and Asylum, Thanos Plevris, to re-examine cases of international protection.
