The Ritsona refugee and asylum-seekers camp has been placed on a full lockdown for the next 14 days as of Thursday morning, after 20 residents tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The lockdown was ordered by Migration and Asylum Minister Notis Mitarakis in collaboration with Deputy Civil Protection Minister Nikos Hardalias and the head of the National Organisation for Public Health (NOPH), Panagiotis Arkoumaneas.
