Lycabettus Hill, an iconic landmark on the Athens landscape, is to undergo a major overhaul designed to make it safer and more attractive to visitors and local residents, the City of Athens announced on Thursday.

A call for tenders for four projects improving access and structures at the Lycabettus Hill will be issued before the end of the year, Athens Mayor George Kaminis said on Tuesday during a press conference, according to ANA.
