The Hellenic Police on Wednesday announced that two people have been arrested as suspects in connection with the multiple murders of six Turkish nationals committed in the Attica seaside town of Loutsa (Artemis) on September 11, 2023.

Senior students of Rheingauschule highs school from Geisenheim, a city near Hessen, west of Frankfurt in Germany, were taken on a guided tour of the Mausoleum and the Nazi Victims Museum in Distomo in Boeotia in Greece.

Government officials, party leaders, mayors, local residents and relatives of the deceased participated in the events to commemorate the Massacre (Holocaust) of Kalavryta, where over 1,200 male residents of the town and surrounding villages were gunned down by German troops on 13 December, 1943.
