More than 100 third country nationals being ferried aboard a migrant boat were rescued by the Greek coast guard on Wednesday morning in international waters southwest of the Peloponnese harbor town of Pylos after the vessel overturned.

The rescue operation of migrants on an islet in the Marasia region of Evros was concluded late on Sunday. 

Another 3 bodies were collected by the Greek Coast Guard in the waters off Cape Kafireas, in the southern part of Evia island, on Wednesdy, raising the number of dead migrants to 20.
