Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis went to Evros today, sending a clear message inside and outside the borders that the government is determined to shield the country from illegal immigration.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced on Tuesday that the general elections will be held on May 21. Mitsotakis added that a second round of elections, if needed, will take place in early July at the latest.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Friday morning in Brussels, on the sidelines of the European Council.
