A 27-year Polish woman whose body was discovered on Sunday on the Dodecanese island of Kos died of asphyxiation, a coroner on Rhodes has determined, meaning Greek police and judicial authorities are now officially dealing with a homicide.

The body of a missing 27-year-old Polish woman was found on Sunday afternoon on the northern part of the Dodecanese Island of Kos, roughly two to three kilometers from the residence of the main suspect in her disappearance and within walking distance from where her cell phone was recovered.

The investigations into the cold blooded execution of Giorgos Karaivaz, in April 2021, in Alimos, are in full progress, with the two arrests considered to be only the beginning.
