Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) counterpart Zoran Zaev have made history, with the leaders coming to an agreement over a mutually acceptable name for FYROM, putting an end to a 27-year dispute between the neighbouring countries. Or so they thought.

Pressure continues to build on the junior partner in the Greek coalition government, the right-wing Independent Greeks' (AN.EL) party, in the wake of a bilateral agreement between Athens and Skopje to resolve the FYROM "name issue" and a subsequent "no confidence" motion that was rejected by a slim majority of Parliament MPs.

According to British news site Telegraph, Austria is threatening to sabotage the agreement reached between Greece and FYROM on the name dispute signed on Sunday at Prespes.
