New Democracy extends lead amid Middle East war anxiety
Greece’s ruling New Democracy party has widened its lead in the latest opinion polls as the escalating conflict in the Middle East becomes a primary driver of voter sentiment and economic concern.

Pulse pollsters recorded New Democracy as half a point higher than in December, at 29.5%, in the poll presented on Sky's main bulletin. In fact, the company presented a table with the poll differences between the ruling party and the second party, from which it emerges that the difference of 16.5 points that the ruling party currently has in the vote estimate is the second largest since 2016, when Kyriakos Mitsotakis was elected president of ND. The largest difference in Pulse's vote estimate was recorded in 2024.
