Greek tourism is accelerating, with the most important hotel companies in the world, but also Greek investors, buying and building mainly four-star and five-star hotels in Athens and popular island destinations.

There is a host of new hotels emerging in Athens, Thessaloniki and the rest of Greece. According to a survey by GBR Consulting, a large number of hotels will be operational this year. These are investments that meet an increased demand due to the rise in foreign tourist arrivals.
