October 28 - Anniversary of "No", a day of remembrance and national pride
October 28, 1940. A Day of Remembrance and National Pride. The Anniversary of "NO" commemorates Greece's denial of the Italian demands contained in the ultimatum served to Ioannis Metaxas, resulting in the country's "entry" into World War II and the start of the Greek-Italian war.
