Former Def. Min. and Navy chief to face prosecutor for the $500 million contract voided after 9 years
The scandal of 500 million dollars for the upgrade of 5 naval cooperation aircraft P-3B Orion of the Hellenic Navy has come under the microscope of the prosecution authorities, with the protagonist of the president of ANEL party and then Minister of National Defense (2015-2019) Panos Kammenos. The Prosecutor's Office is investigating the possible commission of three felonies, including the crime of money laundering.
