Greek Government Vice President and PASOK chief Evangelos Venizelos was featured in yesterday's Ethnos newspaper, with comments concerning the Presidential election and PASOK activities.

Greek President Karolos Papoulias stated during a Parliamentary exhibit on democracy's commencement, "Today is a day of remembrance and great respect to those who fought, were imprisoned, were exiled so as to restore democracy in Greece. Today we honour all of them and is a shining example for all of us, that in times of crisis the flame of freedom and democratic institutions must prevail", as reported by ANA-MPA.

In today's PASOK Central Political Committee meeting, its leader Evangelos Venizelos discussed how Greece is exiting the financial crisis, entering a new period and altering creditor relationships, according to international reports.
