For the third year, the island of the Knights will be flooded with jazz tunes, as part of the Rhodes & South Aegean International Jazz Festival, the great celebration that proves that music can only unite people. The initiator of this initiative and artistic director of the festival is Dimitris Vasilakis, an internationally renowned saxophonist, composer and educational researcher.

"To salvage the tourist season, Greece started an experiment under scientific guidance. 189 Dutch people were allowed to spend paid vacations in Rhodes," according to a report in Austrian newspaper Der Standard, which notes that "the Greek government wants to save the tourist season despite the high number of coronavirus cases." It is interesting that 25,000 people applied for participation in this pilot program.

Dutch tourism experiment on Rhodes

189 Dutch tourists arrived this afternoon at the "Diagoras" airport of Rhodes, who are participating in the pilot tourism program carried out in cooperation with the Dutch government.
