A seismic tremor of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale occurred at 00:27 Greek time, as announced by the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, on behalf of the four constituents of the Unified National Seismological Network.
The earthquake occurred at a distance of 404 km east / southeast of Athens and the epicenter is located in the sea 21 km west / northwest of the city of Katavia (Rhodes).
