Today, April 23, 2025, the Church commemorates Saint George the Trophy-Bearer, one of the greatest feasts of Orthodoxy.

Greek National Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos and chief of the Armed Forces, General Konstantinos Floros, on Easter Monday expressed their best wishes over the nameday of Saint George, patron saint of the Hellenic Army.

With the services of Divine Liturgy and Artoklasia was celebrated the feast of Saint George  on April 23rd, 2018 at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church (307 W 54th St, New York, NY 10019) in Manhattan.
