In his new book “Betting for Europe”, published on Monday, American investor George Soros launces a fierce attack against Chancellor Angela Merkel and German Finance minister Wolfgang Schauble's handling of the European economic crisis and particularly the way their policies affected Greece.

Multimillionaire investor George Soros is no stranger to charity. His institute has contributed to many liberal causes, charities and other institutions in the US and around the world. Lately, Greece has come into Mr. Soros' focus. Last month, his institute donated free gas for schools with underprivileged children in northern Greece.
