Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis set out a “roadmap” to 2031 for the future of the market and of businesses as he inaugurated the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair yesterday.

A reduction in business tax from 28 pct to 24 pct for 2019, and incentives to link large investments with a reduction in taxable foreign income are some of several incentives for investments under a new draft bill that was released for public consultation on Thursday.

The new Minister of Finance, Christos Staikouras, appeared cooperative in his first statements during the official ceremony of the handing over of the Ministry by his predecessor Euclid Tsakalotos.
