Opposition Potami party leader Stavros Theodorakis is making a good recovery following scheduled surgery to remove a tumour at the Metropolitan Hospital Urological Clinic, led by surgeon Vasilis Poulakis. Doctors said the surgery went well and that Theodorakis is expected to stay in hospital for two to three days, returning to his normal activities in roughly two weeks.

Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis accused the government on Wednesday of unleashing an attack against the media using regulatory and law enforcement agencies as leverage, during his speech in parliament, which was discussing issues relating to the agricultural sector. 

Stavros Theodorakis on Sunday was re-elected by a large majority leader of Potami party after the completion of the voting procedure for the election of the party’s new leadership.
