The Greek government is trying to improve and change aspects of an agreement with the country's creditors with the aim to lower tax and social contributions burdens on farmers, Agricultural Development Minister Vaggelis Apostolou said on Monday.

Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos will pay a two-day visit Berlin on Monday following an invitation by the German President Joachim Gauck, during which he will meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Two men (aged 43 and 83) were arrested in Larissa on Friday. Police officers found that the 43 year old man was swindling people with cancer, by telling them that he knew an elderly man, who had invented a cancer drug.
