The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) is working to address the recent actions taken by Turkey that have raised tensions in the eastern Mediterranean with officials of the Obama Administration.  

It is the competition of competitions ... for beer and naturally took place of course in Bavaria. There yesterday a Greek beer, "Nisos", became the first Greek beer in history to win the silver European Beer Star Award in the category Bohemian Pilsner, among thousands of competitors from around the world.

"In a month dedicated to Greece but also to one of the major poets, Yiannis Ritsos proceeds Teatro Due by staging a series of works from the 'Fourth Dimension'," wrote Italian newspaper Repubblica in an extensive tribute.
