Citizens of Greek origin were among the victims of a mortar attack yesterday, at the village of Sartana, located ten kilometers south-east of Mariupol in the Ukraine.

Turkish Cyptiot leader Dervis Eroglu should have made efforts to convince Ankara to “change its hard line on the EEZ issue,” said Kudret Ozersay, the former Turkish Cypriot negotiator fired by Mr Eroglu.
