The son of former cabinet secretary general Panos Baltakos, coast guard frogman, Dimitris Baltakos, turned himself in, at Coast Guard headquarters, Friday morning.

The board of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, during its latest meeting, decided to establish a branch in Nicosia, in a building offered by the government of Cyprus. The board also decided to place Eleni Varopoulou as director of the HFC's branch in Berlin, replacing Eleftherios Oikonomou.

The two government partners will be meeting Friday morning to discuss the future of their partnership after the latest scandal invlolving the PM's formerly closest adviser.
