US State Sec. joins FMs of Greece, Israeli, Cyprus in reaffirming commitment to promoting peace, security and prosperity in east Med

Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias on Monday referred directly to an “absolute need” for greater regional cooperation between Greece, Israel and Cyprus, during his comments in a video-conference with his Cypriot and Israeli counterparts, Ioannis Kasoulides and Yair Lapid, respectively, but also with the very high-profile participation of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Greece-Israel military cooperation is on an upgrade trajectory

The double telephone conversation between the head of the Hellenic Armed Forces General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, and his Israeli counterpart, Aviv Kohavi, last week, confirms the high level of defense relations between the two countries. The "chemistry" in military cooperation is such that it perhaps goes beyond the much improved Athens - Jerusalem diplomatic relations in recent years

The plan of Israel, Cyprus and Greece for LNG exports to Europe

Israel pledged its support to its European allies in their quest for energy security and independence through Energy Minister Karin Elharar during yesterday's ministerial meeting with Costas Skrekas and Cypriot Minister Natasa Peleidou.

This was noted by Ms. Elharar in her statements promising gas exports from the fields of the Israeli EEZ to European markets.
