Archaeologists in Albania have uncovered a Roman tomb dating back to the 3rd–4th century AD, the first of its type and size ever found in the country.

The new Vlora International Airport on Albania’s coastline is set to open in the coming weeks. The area has already attracted interest, with Donald Trump’s son-in-law planning a luxury resort there to attract wealthy visitors.

New Democracy Eurodeputy Fredi Beleri on Tuesday condemned the deprecating attitude of Albania - a candidate country for accession to the European Union - for the European Parliament and the protection of diplomatic missions, following an attack outside the Albanian parliament building during a visit of a European Parliament delegation to monitor Albania's EU accession progress.
