The family of Apostolos Vakakis, owner of Greek toy retailer chain “Jumbo”, whose son was involved in the fatal car crash that killed four people on the Athens-Lamia national highway last Sunday said they are trying to live with the “unbearable”. 

Greece's version of Toys-R-Us, Jumbo, confirmed that its July and August profits increased over 10%, compared to the same timeframe last year.

While Greek banks are reducing their presence in Southeastern Europe, Greek companies from the retail sector are going ahead with investments in Romania and Bulgaria.
