The NAVTEX issued by the Hellenic Navy hydrographic service in Herakleion, Crete, was updated late on Tuesday to include marine areas under Malta's jurisdiction, following a communication between Greece and Malta.

Russian national Maria Efimova, 36, a former bank employee named in international arrest warrants and mentioned as a witness in a journalist's murder case in Malta, was arrested on Monday night after turning herself in at a police station in Athens.

President Prokopis Pavlopolos will travel to Malta on Sept. 14-15 where he will participate in the 13th Arraiolos Group Informal Meeting hosted by the Maltese President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.
