The Greek National Confederation of Hellenic Commerce (ESEE) President Vasilis Korkidis stated that Sunday store openings haven't resulted in concrete revenue increases, even in tourist destinations, as reported by To Vima.

Sunday, Greek shops opened from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., which marks one of the seven Sundays this year that stores are required to hold business hours under a law passed last year.

Today brings Greece's annual summer sales that will occur until August 30th.
