Turkey has raised its level of provocations "in an unprecedented and dangerous manner", SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras said on Wednesday, following incidents instigated by the neighboring country.

Syriza on Tuesday proposed a set of additional preventive measures the government should pursue against the coronavirus, following the party leader Alexis Tsipras' briefing by Health Minister Vasilis Kikilias and specialists.

"Greece must seek substantial EU support, as these people do not come here to stay on Lesvos or Limnos islands, they are coming to move on through to the rest of Europe," SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras said in comments on the unfolding Greek-Turkish border migration crisis on Mega TV station, on Tuesday evening.
