Greek manufacturing sector made a dynamic start in the second half of 2019, recording higher growth rates as production, new orders and employment grew faster, Markit said in a report on Thursday.
A gentlemen’s agreement was reached by the government and the bankers to reduce the auction’s value threshold to 50,000 euros, perhaps even lower. In recent years there has been an informal gentlemen’s agreement between governments and banks, with the former pushing the latter to keep the informal boundaries as high as possible for social reasons.
For the first time since 2014, the economic climate index in Greece surpassed that of the Eurozone average, as recorded in official Commission data in July 2019.
