Gus G., born Konstantinos Karamitroudis, hails from Thessaloniki, Greece and is known in the metal world for his amazing guitar skills, recognition for which landed him a spot next to Ozzy Osbourne, as well as a cover debut on the widely known magazine, Guitar World. Gus G. created the band Firewind in 1998, and is well known for replacing Ozzy Ozbourne's guitarist Zakk Wylde in 2009. Besides playing for Ozzy Osbourne and recording albums with Firewind, Gus G. has released three of his own solo albums in collaboration with other known metal musicians, the most recent of which is Brand New Revolution in 2015. He was touring in Europe in the fall and is now making his way to the U.S. for this cruise event.

The cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line's ship, NCL Pearl, will be departing from Miami, Florida on Monday February 22nd, will go to Nassau, Bahamas, and will return to Miami on the 26th. The cruise event is called "Shredders From The Deep," and besides offering the fantasy camp experience for metal fans, it features famous bands and musicians such as Tesla, Steve Vai, Extreme, Sebastian Bach, Queensryche, Vixen, Winger, Helloween, , and so many others, not to mention Jeff Scott Soto, who worked with Gus G. on his solo albums, and, of course, Gus G. himself. A "Pre-Cruise Party" at Magic City Casino will take place the day prior to departure, where fans will see many of their favorite bands perform.
