In her testimony to interrogators ,Paulo Fissa's girlfriend describes the ambush she witnessed at the moment he was murdered by the Golden Dawn Party.
Fissa's girlfriend initially brought up how they saw police officers yielding off andcrossing to the other side of the street of Tsaldari. She emphasized how she yelled outto them and told them that her friends were in danger, begging them to come over andhelp. She specifically mentions that she remembers a particular police officer, who shedescribed as tall and portly, who told her that they can't do anything about it, because the attackers outnumbered them.
She said there were only two officers, one male andone female, who were at the scene during Fissa's murder. She continued to describe how she ran back to Fissas and saw that he was stabbedwith a knife, pointing towards the perpetrator.
Fissa's girlfriend referred back to the tall and portly officer, she described earlier in thetestimony, and said that after Fissas was taken away by the ambulance, he approachedher and asked her to give a statement on what took place.
When she confronted himand asked why he didn't do anything to protect Fissas, he replied that he just arrived tothe scene.
