Teen arrested for Kalamata murders
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
A nineteen-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the double murder in Messinia. Another nineteen-year-old is being sought by police as an accomplice.
Both belong to well known Kalamata families, which has come as an even greater shock to the local community.
The perpetrator seem to have shot the victims with a shotgun belonging to his mother, while with the help of his friend he transported the bodies in a van to the remote gorge where they tossed them.
So far the crime seems to have been committed over a drug deal that went sour, when there was a failed delivery of anabolic steroids. The perpetrator worked out at the Kalamata gym operated by one of the victims.
