Nikos Romanos, who participated in the Velento, Kozani (northern Greece) robbery on January 1st, 2013 got married. The 21-year old was married two weeks ago, to an 18-year old girl he has known for years.
Romanos is also accused of participating in the guerilla group "Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire", although he denies the allegations. His 18-year old wife has no connection with the “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire” group, but reports suggest that her brother is accused of having some participation in its actions.
The Mayor of Korydallos married the couple, with their families attending the ceremony. Nikos Romanos is also a college student this year, as he was admitted in the department of Business Administration at the Technical School of Athens (TEI).
Romanos is custody at the Korydalos prison as he is waiting for the verdict of the trial case for his involvement in the robbery in Velvento to come out. The decision is expected on October 1st.
