Church objects to cremation
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos

Although cremation is legal by law in Greece since 2006, no cremation facilities have been created in Greece. The Church of Greece has reacted to the creation of crematoria at parish cemeteries in the two largest cities of the country Athens and Thessaloniki.
