One killed in freak accident in downtown Athens

A traffic accident occurred Sunday afternoon in the very center of Athens and specifically in Panepistimiou Street, at the height of the University Propylaea (rectorship).
According to reports, the accident involved two motorcycles (which collided and went up in flames), while the collision killed one man and seriously injured three more. The condition of one of the injured is deemed critical, while two more have been hospitalized.
The conditions under which the accident happened have not yet been clarified by the Traffic police conducting the preliminary investigation.
