An investment "assault" is being planned by Arab businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, as representatives of the four largest state enterprises from the UAE visited Greece, showing great interest in the government's privatization program.
More specifically the Arab entrepreneurs seem to be interested in Hellenic Petroleum, natural gas concern DEPA, Motor Oil, Aegean Energy, but also in tourism complexes, according to Ethnos newspaper.
According to the press, the UAE representatives have said "yes" in a first phase to buy shares of the Greek Investment Fund and are shown to have asked for a draft plan to study, on the issue.
