"Conspiracy of fire" terrorists planned to kill Xiros

The jailed members of the terror group “Conspiracy of Nuclei of Fire” were planning the assassination of 17N convicted terrorist Christodoulos Xiros soon after their escape from Korydallos Prison, according to Greek Police Chief Lieut. Gen. Dimitris Tsaknakis.
The police chief made announcements referring to evidence collected on the case so far by the counter-terrorism squad and to the arrests in Athens and Thessaloniki of another two criminal law offenders who allegedly were associated with the Korydallos Prison-based mob bosses' ring and the members of the “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire”.
Tsaknakis said that the concealed messages exchanged by the members of the terror group referred to Xiros' “dismissal” because they regarded him as a “traitor” and believed that he was responsible for the failure of the bomb attacks with booby-trapped envelopes addressed to the Itea Police Station and the Korydallos district Tax Office.
