Special operations exercise retorts to Turkish provocations

Exercise "Pyrpolitis 1/15" started at 07:00 in order to test
• -Power projection
• -Repeling invasion of islets / or islet in the eastern Aegean
• -Providing vital spaces and infrastructure
• -Providing territorial integrity
• -Addressing asymmetric actions
• -Attacking naval forces
As noted by military sources "These operations will be carried out through air transport, maritime transport, deployment of special operations units of all branches of the Armed Forces, movenet of naval units and activation of air power."
The exercise, held in parts of the West. Macedonia, Evros and the eastern Aegean is being conducted with the participation of frigates, missile boats, gunboats, fast ships of the Navy, transport and attack helicopters of the Army, Air Force search - rescue Super Puma helicopters, interceptor and strike fighters and special operations units of all branches of the Special Forces.
