A judicial appeals board has returned an indictment against DEH Public Power Corp. president and CEO Arthuros Zervos, charging him for approving salaries above the legal limit for 19 top DEH executives between 2010-2012.
According to the felony charge, between March 2010 and September 2012, Zervos stands accused of damaging the state-run and listed power utility to the tune of 150,000 euros.
According to the decision approving the indictment, he allegedly violated law 3833/2010 by approving PPC directors’ salary increases over 5,981 euros per month, reportedly the maximum allowed by law.
