Panaritis: Papandreou gvt sent bills for approval to Germany

KIDISO, George Papandreou's party, accuses Elena Panariti for slander after statements that even before Greece entered the memorandum the Papandreou government was sending bills to the German Government for approval or even their drafting.

As long as Ms Panariti does not provide evidence for her statements, "she is compromised and flirting with slander" emphasizes the announcement of the Press Office of the Socialist Democrats Movement, on recent statements by Ms Panariti that during the Papandreou government 'bills were sent German government for approval or drafting ", as stated on the statement of the Movement.

"It is now some 24 hours since the 'revelation' that alleged bills were sent to the German Government for approval or drafting! However, we have not heard, nor seen any evidence. We ask, then: What bills were sent and when exactly, to the German Ministry of Finance before or after agreement with institutional lenders? As Ms. Panariti, an adviser to the Finance Minister does not provide specific data remains exposed and 'flirting' with the spirit that pervades a public slanderer. We will be awaiting," the statement said.

The statements of Elena Panariti, a former Member of PASOK and a close associate og George Papandreou, were made during a TV interview on SKAI channel.

"Do you know what it's like for a finance minister not to give the bill to economists and to stroll it around the German Finance Ministry, so they can tell us whether it is good or not?" she said.

For about a month now Ms. Panariti is adviser to Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis.
