Tsipras:Political will to find a solution to Greek issue soon
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, during joint statements with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker in Brussels, expressed Greece’s political will in order for a solution to the Greek issue to be found soon.
The premier stressed he had come to Brussels to find the best way for the implementation of the Eurogroup decision taken on February 20.
“We have the political will to find a solution to our issue soon,” Tsipras said and added that when there is political will everything is possible.
Juncker on his part said the Commission is not the main factor in these deliberations as all decisions should be taken by the Eurogroup.
He said, however, he was not satisfied with the developments of the last weeks. “I don’t think there has been sufficient progress,” he said and noted there should not be a failure.
