Parliament plenary tonight

Alexis Tsipras sent a request to the Chairman of the House Zoi Konstantopoulou to convene a plenary asession at 8 pm Monday to inform the parliamentary body on negotiations with lenders.
The request of the Prime Minister was based on Article 142A of the Rules of the House to inform the body on issues related to the current negotiation.
Due to the emergency debate in parliament, Antonis Samaras has postponed a planned trip to Skouries of Halkidiki, site of a controversial gold mining project.
Today after 4pm the meeting of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA will take place at its HQ on Koumoundourou Square, while the Governing Council is programmed to meet at 7pm .
