EU wants Greece to toe the line on Moscow sanctions

Partners/lenders do not look on this effort of an approach of Athens with Moscow with a good eye and have ratcheted tones already bringing home all the messages that the Greek government "must watch ...".
At the same time, the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, sent another warning to the Greek prime minister not to break the EU line in terms of sanctions against Russia.
"Greece asks for and gets a lot of solidarity from the EU. So we can ask solidarity from Greece and this solidarity is not terminated unilaterally" by Athens to "withdraw its participation from joint measures," said Schulz in an interview with German newspaper Münchner Merkur, on Wednesday.
The President of the European Parliament said that he and other European officials have made it clear to Mr. Tsipras during several discussions, adding: "He needs to base his actions in Moscow, on this. The EU expects it from him as head of a government of a member state of the EU."
