German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras might meet on the sidelines of the summit to be held this week in Riga, Latvia between European Union leaders and their Eastern European partners, transmits Reuters quoting official German government channels.
The same official, who asked not to be named, added that such a meeting will not take decisions on negotiations for debt and reforms in Greece, while a decisive say in talks on the scheme will be had by the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
