Hostage situation aboard ferry diffused

A 30 year old man, holding a 30 year old woman hostage aboard the ferry F/B “Kriti 2″, was arrested by officers of the Police and the Hellenic Coast Guard.
Piraeus Port Authority was informed around 3.30 a.m. that a man, holding a broken glass, was threatening to kill a woman, in the central salon of the ship.
For unknopwn reason, he attacked to the woman, who was sitting in the salon with her husband.
All passengers were removed from the salon and when “Kriti 2″ docked in Piraeus port, officers of the Police and the HCG arrested the 30 year old man.
F/B “Kriti 2″ was going to Piraeus from Heraklion, carrying 614 passengers.
