Strict budget guidelines

Strict guidelines for the budgeting of the 2016 General Government were given by the deputy finance minister Dimitris Mardas to ministries and agencies asking fiscal tightness in expenditures.
The circular issued reports that the budgeting of the General Government bodies should be in accordance with the objectives and overall spending limits as foreseen in the Medium Term Fiscal Strategy.
